Meet Jodee
Dogs: Karma & Trapper
From my earliest childhood memories, dogs have been an integral part of my life. My passion for dogs has driven me to become a small-scale breeder, assistant obedience trainer, and participate in the Morris Foundation’s Golden Retriever’s Lifetime Study.
My husband and I are passionate about our two fun-loving golden retrievers, Karma and Trapper. They currently compete in AKC Agility and UKC Nosework. We plan to begin working towards Rally, AKC Scent work, and dock diving.
I am excited to help West Michigan Dog Sports develop and grow. Providing a resource for fellow dog enthusiasts, to train and build a community.
Though I am semi-retired, my career path has included working as a QC Supervisor, Naturalist, Substitute teacher for 25 years, operating a home business, plus being a full- time parent to two very active girls. In addition, it has been my honor to have been involved with establishing a state park for land preservation, volunteering for a hospice organization, and volunteer coordinator for a therapeutic riding facility.
