I was raised by a family who bred and trained dogs. In the 90’s I began training a dog for agility and absolutely fell in love with the sport. Teaching agility is a wonderful way to share that love of sport with others, There is not much I’d rather do.

I’ve been on boards of directors of several non-profits. This includes creating one from the ground up, dealing with children who have been abused and neglected. Because my work life was as a clinical social worker, I’ve also seen many non-profits from the inside. I’ve spent many years either in supervision or administration of various organizations, managing both staff and large groups of volunteers. I am so looking forward to having a building for dog sports, and working with the amazing community in West Michigan.
